Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy supplements the SkinnyBite Privacy Policy for Washington consumers and describes how SkinnyBite handles consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act.

Consumer Health Data We May Collect

  • Goals, wellness preferences, GLP-1 context, dietary constraints, food preferences, and restaurant habits you provide.
  • Menu text, restaurant selections, menu screenshots, OCR text, saved orders, recommendation history, and feedback you choose to submit.
  • Approximate or precise location when you choose nearby restaurant features.
  • Inferences used to personalize restaurant ordering guidance, such as preferred restaurant types, lighter-order preferences, or saved go-to orders.

Sources

We collect consumer health data directly from you, from your use of SkinnyBite, from your device when you grant permission, and from service providers that help us operate the app.

Purposes

  • Provide, personalize, operate, support, and improve SkinnyBite.
  • Generate restaurant ordering recommendations, alternatives, swaps, confidence notes, and saved-order history.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
  • Maintain security, prevent misuse, debug issues, and comply with law.
  • Create aggregated or de-identified information where permitted by law.

Sharing

We may share consumer health data with service providers that help us host, process, analyze, secure, and support SkinnyBite; with Apple and subscription providers for subscription access; with professional advisors and authorities when required by law; and with other parties at your direction or with your consent.

Your Washington Rights

Washington residents may have rights to access consumer health data, confirm whether consumer health data has been collected, shared, or sold, request deletion, and withdraw consent where applicable. To make a request, email privacy@skinnybite.app.

Appeals

If we deny a request and you want to appeal, email privacy@skinnybite.app with "Appeal" in the subject line and include enough detail for us to review the decision.
